Indulgence

After lunch with a friend today, I pulled out my phone and searched for an address.

You see, for the past month, a Crave cupcake has been calling my name.

So I plugged the address into my GPS and drove a couple of blocks to the bakery.

I walked in and I was overwhelmed.

It was cute and smelled of heavenly baked goods.

And then I saw the cupcakes.

My eyes popped out of my head and I'm pretty sure my brain turned to mush.

Before I knew it, I had ordered four.

FOUR CUPCAKES!

German Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Hummingbird and White Chocolate Macadamia Nut.

And on the way out they door they handed me a mini red velvet cupcake.

For free!

I sat down in my car and my brain came running back to me.

As of this past Saturday at Weight Watchers, I'm officially 12 pounds down at Weight Watchers.

A fabulous start... but I still have 30 or so more pounds to go til my goal weight.

I'm pretty sure that FOUR of these cupcakes wouldn't be helpful.

Thus, I SAVORED every bit of the mini cupcake and promptly drove over to friends house and surprised them with a 2 cupcake delivery.

Two cupcakes did make it home with me. My parents, grandma and I have been cutting off slivers and enjoying them after dinner.

Words can't describe the taste.

They are a celebration with every bite.
