After much deliberation, I actually decided NOT to go with Mint.com. Instead I found a pre-made Excel budget spreadsheet that I could download for free online. From this, I made a monthly budget. I then down loaded a free iphone app called HomeBudget. I input my budget here and am now tracking all my expenses. It's very eye opening. And so far has been really helpful in terms of helping me cut back on my spending.
11. Make a photo book online from my Kenya photos.
I actually used the photo editing software on my Mac book and am really pleased with how it turned out. HOWEVER, the book is more expensive than I was expecting. (Don't ask how I determined what I was expecting to pay for this book, as I had never made one before). Thus, I'm hoping that one of my readers can recommend a quality, but less expensive place to make a photo book. Let me know.
16. Grow an herb garden
My garden has been planted. Three little pots. One with basil, another with cilantro, and the last with Rosemary. I have more soil, so perhaps I will plant a fourth. For now, I'm reading the herb gardening book I checked out from the library yesterday and hoping for the best. I'll keep you updated.
I also should mention that I've been alone pretty much all week here in Oahu. I saw Karl and Ashley on Monday, but since that time I haven't really had all that much human interaction (unless you count the employees at the DMV or the library). Consequently, I've been trying to keep myself busy with other things. Getting myself completely unpacked, cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, planting the herb garden, updating my blog. ;-) One of my projects this week has been to create a jewelry display piece. While it's not as cool as my sister-in-law's, I think it has a nice Hawaiian feel. Tomorrow I might try to make and earring display area that looks a little more like Chelsey's.

Would you please post a link to the excel budget? Steven and I were talking about this literally 2 minutes before I sat down at the computer.
Glad you're getting all settled in.
Tricia = )
You could try shutterfly.com! Don't know what kind of size or budget you're looking for though. They have all sorts of promotions too.
Shutterfly does some great promotions as Suzie said, however you still have to pay shipping. Walmart.com has a photo center that you can have the book printed at/pick-up at a local store. We made wedding books for each of our mom's (60pgs, softcover, 5x7) and they were very reasonable and of good quality.
