Confession: I'm a blog stalker.

Some of the blogs I stalk are incredibly popular.

Some of the blogs I stalk fuel my dreams of being a chef or being crafty

Some of the blogs I stalk are friends and family.

And some of the blogs I stalk are typed by women who are in relationships (dating, married) to men in the armed forces.

That's how I stumbled upon Flip Flops and Combat Boots.

And she does one of the coolest things. The "Summer Essentials Swap." It's like a care package or pen pal swap. I thought it sounded like so much fun. So I signed up and was paired with Cat, of "The C.W." blog.

My package came on Friday, and I was ecstatic!

She sent me a new cute beach towel - check out the awesome hibiscus print!! A new magazine for beach reading. New note cards, notepaper and pens (to help me write my letters for my 28 before 28!). And the awesome red/white/blue bow and bells metal art (It's so cute and it came just in time for July 4th too!!).

So a big THANK YOU to Cat! I love my summer essentials! And a thank you to Flip Flops and Combat Boots for putting together a fun swap!
